Question 1

How are pieces authenticated?

Accepted Answer

Every pre-owned luxury handbag sold by The Quiet Carry undergoes a comprehensive authentication review before it is listed. We examine hardware, stitching, materials, serial numbers or date codes (when applicable), construction details, and brand-specific characteristics appropriate to the fashion house and production era. Every purchase includes a third-party Certificate of Authenticity. If we cannot confidently verify a piece's authenticity, we simply don't offer it for sale.

Question 2

What condition should I expect?

Accepted Answer

Every pre-owned luxury handbag at The Quiet Carry is described honestly and in detail. Whether a piece is pristine, gently carried, or shows signs of a life well lived, you'll find a clear condition assessment, detailed photographs, and notes highlighting any visible wear or imperfections. Vintage pieces are expected to show some character. We believe that character is part of their story, so we describe it clearly rather than disguise it. Please feel free to reach out to hello@thequietcarry.com with any questions, we're happy to help!

Question 3

Where do your pieces come from?

Accepted Answer

The Quiet Carry sources pre-owned luxury handbags selectively from trusted individuals and private collections. We believe the best pieces are worth waiting for, so we focus on quality, provenance, and timeless appeal instead of volume. Every item undergoes the same thorough inspection and authentication process before it is offered for sale, regardless of where it originates.

Question 4

Do you accept pieces from individuals?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on a selective basis. The Quiet Carry accepts a limited number of pre-owned luxury handbags from trusted individuals, with particular interest in exceptional pieces from houses such as Hermès and Goyard. If you have a piece you believe belongs at The Quiet Carry, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out directly, and we'll let you know if it is a good fit.

Question 5

Do you ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

At this time, The Quiet Carry ships within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future. If you're located outside the U.S. and are interested in a specific piece, please reach out. We'd be happy to discuss available options.

Question 6

Can I see more photos before purchasing?

Accepted Answer
